Craig ‘CJ’ Josic
Craig Josic’s (aka CJ) philosophy is to inspire and to be inspired. He loves all things digital, and is passionate about innovation projects, education, gamification, improving the way people engage online, and collaborating with businesses, governments, organisations and communities. He is the co-founder and chair of Silicon Coast; whose vision is for the Sunshine Coast to be the most innovative and collaborative region in Australia. He is a collaborator, mentor, speaker, educator and volunteer at events like Start-Up Weekend, Start-Up Youth, Hackfest, CoderDojo, Big Day In and Mayor’s Telstra Innovation Awards. He’s supports and has been involved in multiple other events, including Silicon Coast - El Grande events that mash up over a dozen local organisations and meetups with hundreds of participants. He has many years of experience in SME’s and business management. At the same time, he spent years surrounded by technologists, CEOs and start-ups working on everything from corporate strategy to digital transformation and marketing. His rounded knowledge allows him to proactively work with stakeholders to set up mutually beneficial relationships. He has productive, collaborative relationships with local, national and global companies and organisations. CJ was recognised by Advance Qld as a Community Digital Champion for his ongoing commitment, involvement and collaborative projects that span technologies and sectors. Him thrives on working within collaborative ecosystems, sharing knowledge & working with other like-mind people.
